QuaranTune 2.0 - Virtual Dulcimer Festival

August 28-30, 2020

The first QuaranTune Dulcimer Festival was such a resounding success that the organizers are gearing up for a 2nd event to take place on August 28-30, with 2 days of workshops and 3 days of concerts.  It all takes place in the convenient, comfortable, and safe environs of your own home!  (The first festival had over 1400 participants from all over the world, so you might want to put out a few extra chairs ….)

Over 50 instructors will be offering all levels of classes for mountain dulcimer, hammered dulcimer, ukulele, autoharp, pennywhistle, and more.  Be sure and go to the Virtual Dulcimer Festival website to join the e-mail list to receive notifications about how and when to register, along with information about how to install and use the Zoom video conferencing platform to participate.

I'm excited to be part of this project, and have been practicing up on using this new technology for teaching workshops on-line!

I could use some help in deciding on topics for some of the mountain dulcimer classes I'll be offering, so if you have some ideas for classes you would like, click on the CONTACT link in the navigation bar of my website, and send me a message.

Hope to "see" many of you at QuaranTune 2.0.   In the meantime, stay safe!

In music and friendship,
