| Tull now has teaching CDs
available for selected tunes/arrangements. Each CD contains
approximately 70 minutes of instruction, taking the student through
the tunes step by step, note by note, chord by chord, gradually
working up speed, and culminating with "play along" tracks at the
end. Students learn new techniques and new tunes at the same time.
It's like having a workshop instructor in your living room - except
that you can hit "rewind" or "repeat" for those tricky sections!

RIPPLE "Ripple" was written by Robert Hunter, who collaborated with Jerry Garcia to create many of the most well-known hits for the iconic folk/rock band "The Grateful Dead". The song was first performed in 1970, and was released as the "B-side" of another of the group's greatest hits, "Truckin'". It was also release on the full-length album entitled "American Beauty". The lyrics are thought to make reference to the 23rd Psalm. Cover versions have been recorded by Chris Hillman, Riders of the Purple Sage, Dar Williams, and Norah Jones. A collaborative cover version featuring musicians from all around the world was produced by the "Playing for Change" organization, which seeks to inspire and connect the world through music. This mt. dulcimer arrangement has 2 parts – melody and harmony. The CD is divided up into individual tracks covering small sections of each part in detail, looping entire parts, and culminating with a “play-along” track that combines both parts.
