The free tab for August is a 2-part arrangement of the hymn "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere".  The words were penned in 1897 by Jesse B. Pounds.  Her husband, the Reverand John Pounds, was the pastor of  the Central Christian Church in Indianapolis, IN at the time.   It quickly became a standard for use at funerals and memorial services.  It conveys a sense of hope and comfort to those who have lost a loved one.  Over her lifetime, Jesse wrote the texts for over 400 gospel tunes.  Some of her other well-known hymns include "We Are Going Down the Valley", "I Know That My Redeemer Liveth", "Going On", and "The Way of the Cross Leads Home".

The hymn was said to be a favorite of President William McKinley, who was assassinated at the Pan American Exposition in Buffalo, NY in 1901.  It was performed at his funeral services by the Euterpean Quartette.

Here's a link to a YouTube video of an instrumental arrangement of this tune:

Beautiful Isle of Somewhere

 Here are the complete set of lyrics:

  1. Somewhere the sun is shining,
    Somewhere the songbirds dwell;
    Hush, then, thy sad repining,
    God lives, and all is well.

    Refrain:
    Somewhere, somewhere,
    Beautiful Isle of Somewhere!
    Land of the true, where we live anew,
    Beautiful Isle of Somewhere!

  2. Somewhere the day is longer,
    Somewhere the task is done;
    Somewhere the heart is stronger,
    Somewhere the prize is won

  3. Somewhere the load is lifted,
    Close by an open gate;
    Somewhere the clouds are rifted,
    Somewhere the angels wait.

Cheers,

--Tull
