Dulcimer Club announces it's 2nd Annual !! Winter Dulcimer-Fest!!! A Day of Workshops for the Hammered and Mountain Dulcimers Sponsored by the Pocono Dulcimer Club and the Monroe County Arts Council. Saturday, January 24th, 2004 Location: Stroudsburg United Methodist Church 547 Main Street Stroudsburg, PA 18360 Mountain Dulcimer Workshops - Tull Glazener, Janice Steinbeck & Heidi Cerrigione MD Builders Workshop - Dwain Wilder of Bear Meadow Appalachian Dulcimers Hammered Dulcimer Workshops - Walt Michael, Guy George & Cliff Cole Vendors for your musical needs/desires include: Bear Meadow Appalachian Dulcimers - http://www.bearmeadow.com/ Missigman Music - http://www.missigman-music.com/ Carrot Creek Dulcimers - http://www.carrotcreek.com/ Neal & Colleen Walters - http://doofusmusic.com/basement.html Hoggfiddles & Such - Dave Fox, Rochester, NY - mailto:sugarfox@dreamscape.com There will workshops to challenge every level of play and some late afternoon jams to apply your latest skills and energize you. The day will begin with registration, tuning, coffee &. at 9:00 am and culminate with an evening concert at 7:30pm featuring Tull Glazener & Walt Michael. Workshop Fee (all workshops & concert): $30.00 Register after Jan. 9th (or at the door) $35.00 Evening Concert: $ 7.00 For a schedule of the day - workshops & levels listed - and registration form please send an e-mail (off list) to dulcinut@ptd.net and I'll e-mail the registration and schedule to you or your Club; or snail-mail me at the address below and I'll s-mail these back to you. We have an arrangement with the Best Western Hotel in Stroudsburg (one block from event site) for attendees of this event (info will come with registration) who may be traveling some distance (There are many other hotel options in the area as well). We are very excited about this event and our presenters and look forward to seeing many of you.
